My Proposal

In my project I’m teaming up with one of my classmates Azalia Lawrence. Together we are doing a project that shows the evolution of dance. We will make a video explaining many different dances, by showing other people dancing. By performing different dances. We will also have interviews with dancers. We’re going to use videos from you tube and taped videos of friends, classmates and family. It will also include the history of dance. I’ll put my memory card from my camera in the computer and follow the instructions to upload them on to my video. We’re going to show that dancing isn’t just a hobby but a art form. I love dancing myself and I think this project will help me learn more about the history of dance and help my mind be expose to more than one dance. It will also help me learn how to make movies and present them to others. It connects to many people, dance lovers and even researchers learning more about dance. The project connects back to the whole society because dance pertains to other arts and culture. Music isn’t anything without dancing. That is one main reason people listen to music. We’re going to use many materials such as a camera for taping computer for gathering information, television shows and even magazines. Hopefully our project is interesting and exciting to watch. I hope it gives viewers information about the evolution of dance.
